Past Lives - Part 2

So I went back to the hypnotist to find out more. This time, my only purpose in going back was to experience the last few minutes of life and learn what death was like. maybe it sounds creepy to some, but, with one exception. it was actually serene and peaceful.

The one exception was the first life revisited. It was also the only one I'd experienced during my previous session. I had gone back to the 1950's and was a teenager. I was curious as to what happened to her since I was born in 1971. Obviously, my time in the 1950's would have ended young.

What I discovered was this: The first thing I saw were curtains in that aweful yellow people liked in the late 60's and early 70's. I was in a hospital room holding a baby. My husband and I had just had a daughter we named Grace. Ironically, in this life, if one of our sons had been a girl, the name would have been Grace.

My family had stepped out of the room for a bit and the nurse came in to take Grace back to the nursery. After the were out of the room, it was just my husband and me. I started convulsing. He ran and screamed for nurse. They all came running. At that point, it was as though I was floating over my body watching them shock me over and over again. Finally, the doctor stopped and said there was nothing else they could do. I was gone.

This was the only death experience that was upsetting. I actually broke down in tears, in the office, and remember saying I didn't want to leave because my baby needed me.

The next life was abit confusing. It seemed to have some overlap with another life, but the overlap didn't make any sense.  I saw myself flying (not in a plane) over water. I was in a white gown and had long blond hair. Suddenly, there was a beautiful grass-covered hillside. For some reason, I felt like I was in Scotland. I landed there and immediately looked down to see I was now wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, a green jumper-type knee-length dress, white socks and Mary-Jane type shoes.

There was nothing else around, just nature. I began walking and eventually saw a small cottage off in the distance. The next thing I knew, I was at the cottage. I walked in and it was tiny, but comfortable. There was a fire in the fireplace and I was cooking soup. There was a rocking chair by the window and my knitting in a basket. I seemed to be all alone, but I was ok with it.

The hypnotist told me to go to the last few minutes of my life there. I was sitting in my rocking chair knitting and it seemed like I just drifted off to sleep. The next thing I saw was me being pulled from my body and into the sky. It was not at all upsetting.

Past Lives

Do you believe in past lives? I do. I always have, but I'm not sure why. I've often wondered if that feeling of de ja`vu I experience upon meeting someone is because my soul has known their soul in a past life.

Recently, I've gotten quite a few great deals off Living Social and Groupon. One of them was for a hypnosis session. I've been hypnotized before and decided to give it another try to help me stay motivated throughout projects. (I'm always motivated at the beginning of a project, but then it starts to wane.)

During my hypnosis session, for a brief second, I had a flash of the Eyptian pyramids. At the end of my appointment, I made a comment to the hypnotist about this and he said it's not unusual to have brief glimpses of past lives during a session.

He does past life regression, so I made another appointment to explore this further.

I was secretly excited all week about my appointment. I didn't want to tell my husband in case something didn't work right. I asked the hypnotist if he had ever had someone not be able to regress and he said no.

My session started like the others, there was instrumental music playing, the lights were low and he had me stare at a wooden square on a high shelf. Obviously, in order to experience past lives, you have to be extremely relaxed.

Once I got to that point, I experiences 5 different lives. First, I was a teenage gfirl in the 1950's. (I'm really wondering about this one since I was born in 1971.) I'd like to know what happened to her. Second, I was a pilgrim woman, on trial for being a witch. Needless to say, the hypnotist pulled me out of that life before I was burned at the stake. Third, I was a queen in ancient Egypt with a beautiful palace, spa-like baths and lots of servents. I had one sone named David and my husband died young.
The fourth one was when I was a male (approx 12 - 13 years ole) and I was a sheep-herder in Jerusalem.

The last one I experencied was the most unusual and most real. During this one, I did not have an actual body. It was more like an angel. I was standing on a corner in NYC with people hurrying past me and yet no one could see me. I didn't know why, but I felt I was waiting for someone specific.

Then suddenly, a mother and daughter were walking toward me and the little girl looked directly at me. I immediately knew she was the one I was waiting for. She was the one I was there to protect. I followed them home. From the looks of the brownstone or condo, they were quite wealthy. The next thing I knew, there was lots of screaming. The father was drunk and was hurting the mother. The little first was hiding under her bed. Suddenly, it was like I was in 2 places. I could see the mother laying on the floor, but I was also with the little girl. We could hear her father's footsteps getting closer and he came for her. I was shaking and crying I was so scared. The hypnotist brought me out at that point.

I have another session lined up for next Fri night. We're going to explore a couple of these lives further and also find out how they died. Should be interesting.

Stay tuned.
